Health Walks in the Upton & St Crispin Parish

St Crispin Health Walks - they take place every Tuesday. 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month - 13.30 - 14.30 Meet opposite Tick Tock Cafe (was called Little Pickle) St Crispin retail outlet Kent Road NN5 4XB Also 5th Tuesday when there is one. Walking near the site that used to be Princess Marina Hospital and St Crispins Asylum.

2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month - 13.30 - 14.30 Meet in cafe at Duston Sports Centre (Trilogy) Cotswold Avenue Duston NN5 6EX. Walk around where British Timken used to be.

Please arrive in good time as we leave promptly at 13.30. All Welcome.

Duston Players have been entertaining their local community for over 70 years, with thrillers, comedies and pantomimes. After their hugely popular production of "Blackadder's Christmas Carol" last Christmas, the group return to the stage at Duston Community Centre a brand new Pantomime - Sleeping Beauty

Written especially for the group, Sleeping Beauty sees the sleepy residents of Snoozitania celebrating the arrival of the new heir to the throne. The citizens take a break from using their spinning wheels to spin the softest wool to welcome the new Princess. But when someone important doesn't get an invite to the Christening party, the future of the laid back kingdom is at stake.

Sleeping Beauty features a cast of more than 20 local performers aged from 5 to 72, and a host of fabulous songs from the 60s.

Upton Meadows Residents Association and Upton Meadows Primary school (and the friends of) invite you to a festive packed evening offering stalls, the Salvation Army Band and the Upton Meadows Primary School children performing a Nativity.

The Upton Christmas light switch on will take place and there will be a host of games and activities for children and perhaps a special visitor from the North.

The event is FREE entry but don't forget your money for delicious hot food, hot and cold drinks and a wide variety of stalls to purchase those special Christmas gifts.

Upton Parish Council is proud to support the event alongside Northampton Borough Council and the Land Trust.
